The Pillars venue exterior

Established in Tradition

Our Story

A house of gatherings, raised on Charleston's living history.

A Founder's Vision

A space worthy of the moments it holds.

The Pillars at Orange Grove began as a single conviction: that the rooms we celebrate in shape the memories we keep. Founded in the Lowcountry by a family with deep roots in Charleston hospitality, the venue was conceived to be the rare kind of place that disappears behind the people who use it.

Every architectural choice — the colonnade, the exposed beams, the heart-pine floors — was made in service of permanence. This is a venue built to outlast its first generation of guests, and to welcome the next.

Strength & Establishment

Strength

A foundation poured for the long view. We invest in the craftsmanship, the team, and the operational rigor that lets every event happen seamlessly — even the ones you'll only host once.

Establishment

A name built to be passed down. The Pillars stands for the kind of Southern hospitality that doesn't rush, doesn't shortcut, and doesn't go out of style.

Our Philosophy

Three Promises

Intentional Design

Spaces composed with editorial restraint and a clear point of view.

Attentive Service

A venue team that supports your plans — with coordination available as an add-on when you need it.

Charleston Legacy

A venue that honors the city's traditions and writes new ones.
